God would not have us face our difficulties alone, but provides the 'body' to come alongside, and walk with us, to a place of direction and hope. Whether facing grief, divorce, unresolved issues or addictions, we are here to help. Our trained, caring facilitators, lead groups designed to address your need, and find His solutions, through your difficult times so that you may experience healing and personal growth. FIT-4-LIFE – Natural Health Mondays 6:30 PM FLC Room 117 Facilitator: Flora Price Fit-4-Life is a class that covers natural health topics to keep people focused on looking, and feeling, better through proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle. ANGER MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP I Tuesdays 7 PM Mezzanine Room 8 Facilitators: Ariel Gonzalez & Donna Martin Everyone gets angry - whether it is directed inward or vented on another. An unhealthy approach to anger is harmful to you and your relationships. This support group will work through understanding the difference and will include monthly speakers on sources of anger and paths to healing. This group is good for anyone, and everyone, as it clarifies our personal boundaries, the lies we believe about ourselves and others, while focusing on hope and healing. Workbooks are $15. ANGER MANAGEMENT II Tuesdays 7 PM Mezzanine Room 6 Facilitators: John Ringleb & Maria Ruiz This is an in-depth study, which builds on the first Anger Management Group or can stand alone. Using a Bible study approach, it directs you to a better understanding of the source of your anger, and learning to make peace with others, yourself, and your faith. Workbooks are $15. Tuesdays 7 PM Mezzanine Room 2 Facilitator: Deb Miller Many people today have an unhealthy need for affirmation and are unable to feel good about themselves without it. Based on Joyce Meyer's book, "Approval Addiction," see how many spend their time in a continual struggle with low self-esteem and emotional turmoil, which often leads to major problems in relationships. GRIEFSHARE - Starts September 14 Tuesdays 7 PM Bridal Suite Leader: JoAnn Croxton GriefShare is a special place for people to interact with others who are also grieving the loss of someone close, led by people who know what you feel. SHELTER FROM THE STORM: Hope for Survivors of Sexual Abuse Starts September 14 Tuesdays 7 PM Mezzanine Room 5 Facilitators: Kim Thomas & Judy Dillon Nothing is as devasting as the feelings that occur as a result of sexual abuse.
