We don’t go as merely fixers, we go as servant-learners because we understand that it is through serving AND learning that homes are built, victims comforted, children rescued, and lives changed.

Kid’s Club Outreach Ministry

This after-school and Saturday outreach program takes ministry straight into Lakeland’s toughest inner-city neighborhoods on a daily basis, reaching 300-400 kids, plus their families, each week. Volunteers conduct a dynamic, high-energy kids’ service in order to teach God’s life-changing word. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday – Thursday and Saturdays. Lakeland Community Outreach

The Dream Center

We’re thrilled to have invested roughly $500,000 in constructing this Christian Community Center in Lakeland’s most difficult inner-city area, aptly known as “the bottom,” and we are honored to contribute about $75,000 annually toward its operation. At the Dream Center, volunteers tutor and mentor children in after-school programs. Parents are taught parenting skills, financial responsibility, substance abuse awareness, and much more. In every setting, people are cared for, loved, and presented with the hope that only Jesus provides.

Circle J – Summer Camp

Victory takes very seriously the privilege of hosting a three-week summer camp which impacts 600+ inner-city kids each year. With a yearly operating cost of $25,000, kids receive two balanced meals daily, VBS-style classes, western shows with a Christ-centered message, a weekly carnival, a T-shirt, and tons of attention. More than that, they are shown what the love of Jesus really looks like. November & December | Lakeland Community Outreach

Salvation Army

Each year, Thanksgiving – Christmas Eve, Victory Church schedules bell-ringers to ring the Salvation Army bell and collect donations at two Wal-Mart locations. Over the past seven years, we have raised $128,232 for this organization, through the faithfulness and commitment of our volunteers. Sign up information is available in the weekly bulletin, beginning shortly before Thanksgiving, and a table will be set up in the lobby to make sign up easy and quick.

Missions Trips

Missions trips provide an invaluable opportunity for us to serve others and grow in our personal walk at the same time. For many years, Victory Church has taken summer mission trips with trip dates being announced a few months prior to the event. The cost of the trips varies, but typically trip costs range from $900-$1200 per person. On our most recent trip, we sent 90+ people to Mexico and assisted with construction, evangelism, a medical clinic, and children’s ministries. World Missions Conference

Each fall, Victory Church sets aside two weeks as we focus our attention on both home and world missions. These services are anointed, inspiring, uplifting, and miraculous! Keynote missionary speakers are invited to share their heart and teach us how we can join them in prayer and financial support.

One of the greatest ways you can be involved in missions at Victory, is by perusing our missions prayer journal, familiarizing yourself with the missionaries and organizations we support, and making a commitment to prayer & financial support of these vital efforts.

Missionary Adoption

Each year, we also encourage everyone to “adopt” a missionary or missionary family. This does not involve any additional financial resources; it’s simply a great way to pray, correspond, and get to know one missionary family.
