Fine Arts

Fine Arts is a tool to help discover, develop, and deploy students' God-given talents for grades 6-12.

Students are given the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends.

Fine Arts includes a District and National competition which attracts thousands of students from across the nation to compete in various ministry- related categories. This year, Districts will be held in Orlando, Florida, and Nationals will also be held in Orlando, Florida. The program begins with weekly practices for team events in November and concludes with the national competition in August.

October 14th: Parent Info Night

October 21st: Commitment Forms & $100 Deposit due

November 8th: Auditions

- Hip Hop Group: 4:00PM-6:00PM in the Cafe

- Drama & Readers Theater: 1:00PM-3:30PM in the Chapel (no food or drinks allowed)

- Worship Team (Band): 3:00PM-3:30PM in the Gym

- Worship Team (Vocals) & Vocal Ensemble: 3:30PM-4:00PM in the Chapel (no food or drinks allowed)

- Musical Theater: 4:00PM-5:00PM in the Chapel (no food or drinks allowed)

November 8th: Human Video Team Reveal: 6:30PM-9:00PM in the Gym (food is provided)

April 11th: Window Washing Fundraiser (9:30AM & 10:45AM services) - First 40 students to sign up

April 13th: Fine Arts Night Dress Rehearsal - 6:00PM in the FLC Gym

April 14th: Fine Arts Night - 6:30PM in the FLC Gym

April 15th-17th: District Fine Arts Festival @ Faith Church, Orlando

July 27th: Dinner & a Show Dress Rehearsal - 6:00PM-9:00PM

July 28th: Dinner & a Show Fine Arts Night - 5:30PM in the Gym

August 2nd-7th: National Fine Arts Festival @ Orange County Convention Center, Orlando

February 18th: $125 + ($30 x # of additional categories)

Hotel for District Fine Arts (2 Nights) & Hotel for National Fine Arts (5 Nights)

Districts (1 category) and Nationals (1 category)

Additional categories are $30 each for Districts and $25 each for Nationals

Transportation

Transportation to and from Districts and Nationals (by bus & charter)

Fun Activity

We will do something fun in Orlando on the first day of our Nationals trip.

Food

* Districts - Breakfast is provided by the hotel. Lunch & Dinner is covered on Friday.

* Nationals - Breakfast and lunch is covered.
