Fine Arts

Fine Arts is a tool to help discover, develop, and deploy students' God-given talents for grades 6-12.

Students are given the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends.

Fine Arts includes a District and National competition which attracts thousands of students from across the nation to compete in various ministry- related categories. This year, Districts will be held in Orlando, Florida, and Nationals will be held in Saint Louis, Missouri. The program begins with weekly practices for team events in November and concludes with the national competition in July.

October 8th: Fine Arts Launch

October 15th: Parent Info Night

October 22nd: Commitment Forms & $100 Deposit due

November 9th: Drama, Readers Theater, Vocal, Worship Team, Musical Theater Auditions

November 9th: Human Video Team Reveal

April 12th: Window Washing Fundraiser (9:30AM & 10:45AM services) - First 40 students to sign up

April 14th: Fine Arts Night Dress Rehearsal - 6:00PM in the FLC Gym

April 15th: Fine Arts Night - 6:30PM in the FLC Gym

April 16th-18th: District Fine Arts Festival @ Faith Assembly of God, Orlando

July 22nd: Dinner & a Show Fine Arts Night - 5:30PM in the Gym

July 27th-August 1st: National Fine Arts Festival @ America's Center Convention Complex in Saint Louis, MO

Payment Plan & What Cost Includes

October 22nd: $100

November 19th: $120

December 17th: $120

January 21st: $120

February 18th: $120 + ($30 x # of additional categories)

March 25th: $120

April 22nd: $120

May 20th: $120

June 17th: $120 + ($25 x # of additional categories)

July 22nd: $140

Total Cost: $1,200-$1,500 - Cost will be finalized by January, but will only affect April-July's payments.

Lodging

Hotel for District Fine Arts (2 Nights) & Hotel for National Fine Arts (5 Nights)

Shirts

2 District Shirts & 2 National Shirts

Registration

Districts (1 category) and Nationals (1 category)

Additional categories are $30 each for Districts and $25 each for Nationals

Transportation

Transportation to and from Districts and Nationals, flights, & transportation throughout the events

Fun Activity

We will do something fun in Saint Louis on either the first or last day of our Nationals trip.

Food

* Districts - Breakfast is provided by the hotel. Lunch & Dinner is covered on Friday.

* Nationals - Breakfast and lunch is covered.
